What is GDPR?

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It is a new data protection law adopted by the European Union, designed to strengthen the individual’s (also known as a “data subject”) fundamental right to privacy and the protection of personal data. It introduces robust requirements for companies doing business in Europe that will enhance and harmonize standards for data protection and security.
