What is the baggage allowance for children?

Infants under 2 years of age who are not travelling in their own seat are entitled to 1 piece of checked baggage of max. 23kg (except in Economy Light) and are not entitled to hand baggage. The accompanying adult is allowed nevertheless to carry free of charge and on top of his/her free baggage allowance one handbag for inflight necessities (diapers, etc.) and infant food for consumption on board.

Children (between 2 and 11 years old) are entitled to the same free baggage allowance as the baggage allowance for adults, depending on their travel class.

On top of the free baggage allowance you may also bring free of charge 1 infant's carrying basket or 1 fully collapsible stroller/pushchair or 1 car seat. If you haven’t booked a seat for your infant, the car seat and the carrying basket will be transported in the hold. As per the stroller, you may bring it all the way up to the aircraft door and we will put it in the hold of the aircraft from there.
