Can my child travel alone?

Updated 9 months ago by FlorenceVanStaey

Children up to 5 years of age must always be accompanied by a person aged at least 16 years (if member of the family or legal guardian) or 18 years (if not member of the family) who will bear responsibility for the child throughout the trip. In addition, the child must travel together with his/her accompanying person on the same flight and in the same travel class. The Unaccompanied Minor service is not available for children younger than 5 years old.

Children up to and including 12 years of age must always be accompanied by a person aged at least 12 years old, who is fully capable of taking care of the child during the entire trip. In addition, the child must travel together with his/her accompanying person on the same flight and in the same travel class, unless the Unaccompanied Minor service has been booked.
